For Project Owners (Clients):

Personal Information: We collect personal details such as your name, phone number, email address, and location when you request a quote for your project.

Project Details: Information about the project, including the type, scope, duration, and budget, is required to facilitate matching with service providers.


For Service Providers (Professionals):

Profile Information: We collect personal information such as your name, company name, verified phone number, email address, national Identification number and location when you sign up to create a profile on our platform.

Portfolio: You can upload your portfolio, including project examples, photos, or other related files, to showcase your skills and services.

Payment Information: To process the 8% commission on projects, we may collect payment details from service providers.


2. How We Use Your Information

Facilitation of Services: The information collected from both project owners and service providers is used to facilitate the connection between them. This includes sharing necessary contact information with relevant service providers and communicating project details.

Communication: We use your contact information to send notifications, updates, and information related to the projects or inquiries you have initiated through the platform.

Marketing and Promotion: We may use your information to send promotional emails or special offers related to our services. You can opt out of these communications at any time.

Platform Management: We use your information to manage your account, process commissions, and maintain the functionality of the platform.


3. Sharing of Information

With Service Providers: When you request a quote, your project information, location, and contact details will be shared with relevant service providers to facilitate the matching process. However, the service providers are responsible for pursuing and convincing clients to engage their services.

Third-Party Service Providers: We may share your information with third-party vendors or contractors that assist with payment processing, email notifications, or other technical functions related to operating our platform.

Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, such as in response to legal processes, law enforcement inquiries, or in compliance with regulatory obligations.


4. Data Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously and employ commercially reasonable measures to protect it from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

5. User Responsibilities

For Project Owners: When sharing personal and project information, ensure that the details you provide are accurate and up to date.

For Service Providers: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your profile and ensuring that your portfolio accurately reflects your work. Veathari Ventures Uganda Limited does not guarantee that you will secure projects, and it is your responsibility to follow up with leads and secure contracts.


6. Terms of Service

Veathari Ventures Uganda Limited provides a platform to connect project owners and service providers but does not guarantee that any contract or agreement will be made between the two parties. Service providers are prompted to pay an  8% commission for larger projects above $540 or 2,000,000 (2 million) Ugandan shillings or ($5-$20) or 15,000-75,000 Ugandan shillings for smaller projects leads above 100,000-500,000 Ugx provided by Veathari; however, the success of the transaction rests on the providers' ability to convince the client to hire them.

7. Liability Disclaimer

Veathari Ventures Uganda Limited acts as a marketplace and does not take responsibility for any issues arising from the performance of service providers or the project owners’ decision to accept or reject services.

Veathari is not responsible for verifying the credentials, experience, or legal standing of service providers beyond the vetting performed during the registration process.

We disclaim liability for any disputes, damages, or losses that may occur between project owners and service providers.


8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services requested and to comply with legal obligations. If you wish to delete your account, you may do so by contacting us directly. We will process your request in compliance with relevant laws.

9. Updates to Privacy Policy

Veathari Ventures Uganda Limited reserves the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and we encourage users to review the policy periodically.
